friend, is coming back for another visit and workshop June 13 and 14 of
2009. He will again be available for individual healing sessions. The
workshop will be completely different than the one he presented in the

ANIMAL COMMUNICATION CLASSES
Animal Communication Part I
Dates: Saturday, October 4th or Sunday, December 7th 2008

In
this workshop you will learn telepathic or intuitive communication by
experiencing it in a fun, supportive atmosphere. We will be working
with special animals that attend the workshop and with your animals at
home using pictures and descriptions. There will be simple, verifiable
exercises so you can experience and understand that intuitive
communication is real and that anyone can do it. Telepathic techniques
will be taught so that you can begin to speak with your own animals and
understand what they are saying to you.

This
class is for anyone who has completed a basic animal communication
class with any teacher. We will explore skills for having more
detailed, in-depth conversations with all animals both domestic and
wild. I will share ways to increase your accuracy and gain more
confidence in intuitive communication. You will learn how to trust the
information you get from animals, both your own and others. You will
explore your own animals’ purpose and role in your life. We will also
focus on communicating with wildlife and nature.
Teachers Note: You may want to read the book, Learning Their Language: Intuitive Communication with Animals and Nature by Marta Williams before attending these classes.

SHAMANIC JOURNEYING CLASSES
Introduction to Shamanic Journeying
Date: Saturday October 25th, 2008

In
this class you will be introduced to the concept of ‘core shamanism’
and experience shamanic journeying for yourself, learning how to access
‘non-ordinary reality’ for problem solving and healing. Lena Swanson
shares the core teachings of this transformative practice, including
the original role of the shaman in indigenous societies, how to meet
and work with your ‘power animal’ and other spirit helpers, and the
keys to successful journeying. You will experience:
• Accessing the upper and lower worlds of ‘non ordinary reality’
• Communicating with your helping spirits
• Using shamanic journeying for problem solving and information gathering
• Drumming and guidance for your own shamanic journeys
This
one-day class, based on the book Shamanic Journeying: A Beginner’s
Guide by Sandra Ingerman, will give you a solid foundation in the
basics of shamanism and shamanic journeying. (The book will be
available for purchase at the class.)

Medicine For The Earth
A Shamanic Journeying Class
Dates: Starting in October every other Tuesday, 7- 9 PM, nine sessions, exact start date to be announced.

will use shamanic journeying techniques to experience and explore the
Medicine for the Earth material as created by Sandra Ingerman.
• journey in depth for information gathering, guidance, healing, and transformation
• establish deeper relationships with your power animals and teachers
• explore the realms of the worlds of non-ordinary reality (lower, middle, upper)
• learn the principles of Medicine for the Earth and how to manifest them in your daily life
• develop deeper relationships with nature spirits and the elements
(recommended reading: Medicine for the Earth by Sandra Ingerman)

Shamanic Sundays

Location: Classes are held at local power spots in the Twin Cities area.

Shamanic
Sundays are six all-day shamanic nature field trips to local power
spots. We will spend the day together celebrating and working in
partnership with the spirits. Activities will include both group and
individual exploration and deepening of our relationships with animals,
the elements, nature spirits, and the devic realms. Basic journeying
skills are a prerequisite. (See my class dates for beginning journeying
classes. Individual sessions are also available.)

ONGOING EVENTS
Spirit Garage Gatherings
The Spirit Garage is Lena Swanson’s healing and teaching space built on
a beautiful bluff in St. Paul. It’s creation was guided by shamanic
journeys which revealed that the bluff had been the site of vision
quests by the ancestors who had lived there. As a part of the healing
of the soul loss to this land the Spirit Garage was constructed with
the intention of being a space for healing and transformation. Spirit
Garage gatherings mark special events in the natural world and bring
people from all walks of life together to build community and create a
common bond.
